Children's day, food fest and world diabetes day

Children’s day was celebrated on 14 November, 2022 at St.Thomas Convent High School, Ayodhya Nagar ,Bhopal. The programme was inaugurated by Rev.Dr Reni Mudampally who is the Principal of St.Thomas Convent High School and The Director of Mar Baselios College Of Nursing. Prof.Ranjitha Rajesh, Principal of Mar Baselios College Of Nursing shared the keynote address  by conveying children’s day wishes to all the children and she added the another importance of the day  which  is ‘World Diabetes Day’. The programme was started with the prayer song  by the school choir and followed by the solemn ceremony witnessed the traditional lighting of lamp by the dignitaries - Rev.Dr Reni Mudampally,Bursar,Rev.Fr.Rony Alex,Prof.Ranjitha Rajesh, Academic School Coordinator,Ms.Jothi,Cultural Incharge,Ms.Latha,Food Committee Incharge,Ms.Betty and the Student Captain,Miss.Kuhu Sharma. After that, various cultural programme was performed by the school and college students including instrumentation, folk dances, mimicry, extempore,mono act,mimicry and a flash mob based on the theme  “Education to Protect Tomorrow”.  to highlight the opportunities to strengthen the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diabetes.Furthermore ,foodfest was also organised by the school and college students .There were around 12 stalls opened with  different taste of cuisines of both North and South.Social science  exhibition stall was the centre of attraction. The presence of teachers and Local Guardians were the great success behind this event.
